The park is cleaned up and ready for Sunday

On March 22 many of your OHCA board members showed up at the park to clean up and kill fire ant beds.  The weather was perfect, not too hot with no bugs out.  While many kids came along to help out, they found it more interesting to make trash bag dresses and play with sticks.  After just an hour, the park looked great!  It’s amazing what a little teamwork can do!  Thanks to Rudy, David, Phil, Nathan, Sara, John, Ellen, Lance, and everyone else who I’ve forgotten.  GREAT WORK!

Graffiti removal – quick turnaround

At the beginning of March an Oak Hills resident woke up to find his fence vandalized.  He called and left a report using 311.  A board member reported the same graffiti using the online 311 mobile app.  Just a day later the graffiti was painted over by a city worker braving the chilly morning.  Props to the city for the quick turnaround!
